Mixed municipal waste
What belongs here:
This is waste that cannot be separated any further and which ends up on tips or at municipal waste incineration plants.
What doesn't belong here:
• hazardous waste
• usable waste (e.g. paper, glass, plastics)
Where should I put it?
Mixed municipal waste should be placed in the proper waste containers. Each and every owner of a building or premises is duty-bound to make sure that he has sufficiently large waste containers to match his needs. The competent refuse collection company deals with the collection and disposal of mixed waste. This company will also provide a new waste container if your existing container is lost or damaged. You should never put any extra waste beside waste containers (i.e. any waste that is too big to fit into the container).
