Where should I put it?
The general public has two options in terms of disposing of this type of waste free of charge. The first option is to place bulky waste in so-called bulky waste containers (skips - VOK) provided as part of the comprehensive system of disposing of municipal waste. The second is to dispose of this type of waste at a collection yard. Skips are financed by the municipal authority and are provided to individual city districts according to the number of inhabitants. The city districts themselves decide on the dates of setting down skips at the places announced in advance depending on actual need. Information on the places in which skips are placed in Prague 2 is available at our company's website - Municipal District of Prague 2 - or from the Department of the Environment information line. The other option of how to dispose of bulky waste is to use our company's services and order the appropriate container for bulky waste.
